Pauline and daughterI was born in Rostrevor, County Down, and loved horses when I was a little girl. I used to ride a friend’s ponies – Beauty and Misty – but never actually had one of my own. Now my daughter, Emma, rides the wonderful ponies at Lessans’ Riding Stables every single Saturday and just loves the fun and frolics on the farm and the delicious food at the Nosebag Café.

I have written stories all my life and many of them seem to end up being about horses – see Books link. I write for children and adults but my heart really lies in children’s literature. I teach English in a High School in County Down and I just love to see my students enjoying a good book. I hope you consider ‘Pony Palace Camp’ to be a ‘good’ book – and I hope to write many, many more for you. There are lots of ponies at Lessans’ Riding Stables; naughty ones, funny ones, laid-back ones and even tearaway ones.

Keep an eye on the website to find out more about them and books to follow.
